Bryan Ho, the founder of BHO Interiors, together with his local and international teams of commercial interior designers, is passionate about working closely with clients to design and project manage interior spaces that reflect the client’s ideas and values. BHO Interiors are expert commercial interior designers based in Perth and specialise in commercial interior design and commercial fit-outs in Perth and Australia.
As a result of their dedication to delivering excellence in service and design, BHO Interiors has been appointed to several significant projects in Australia and overseas.
Our team will produce a package of information that includes a study of site context, feasibility studies, basic spatial layouts, a conceptual aesthetic direction, and premise that is representative of the overall project intent. This fundamental stage sets the tone for the upcoming design work and is often referred to throughout the process.
We will work closely with you to develop the approved concept at a more technical level. We progress with detailed information to advance the design, including preliminary work with external consultants such as planners, engineers, certifiers, landscape architects and lighting consultants. The forms and layers of spaces begin to evolve beyond the initial idea to incorporate comprehensive specifications and details which will make the concept measurable. We will work through the interior spaces, carefully interpreting the vision and developing a more comprehensive flow of movement, functionality, and visual ideation for each area within your space. Breaking down each zone to ensure they are meeting your needs, consciously addressing the spaces connecting zones, creating an ambience and experience for your clients and team.
We believe that graphic design, branding and signage can have a notable impact on the design of a space and that the careful integration of this is an important facet of what we offer. Our team has the capacity to assist in the creation of conceptual branding for your business - we will collaborate with your nominated graphic designer and signage contractor to ensure that your identity is accurately and positively represented in your new space. Along with the application of your brand identity, we will also undertake a separate task where we will assist with the selection of loose furniture and artwork, placement and installation of styling items on site, selection of service-related objects and items such as flatware, menus, linen and decorative elements. We can even work with you to coordinate things such as additional planting and florals and will assist in briefing your staff on the new space and how to ensure the design intent remains strong post-handover!
At this stage we will assist with the preparation of documents required for review by relevant statutory authorities including centre management, liquor licensing, health departments. This may involve creation of additional documentation to address particular disciplines, or slight amendments to drawings to meet requirements.We will liaise with all parties involved on your behalf while keeping you informed every step of the way.
The involvement of both design team and construction team throughout the duration of the build ensures smooth transition of information and action from design to site as the project is managed cohesively. Our team will coordinate and assess site works, manage client variations, review shop drawings, supplementary information required by the builder, and report regularly to our client with regards to site works and progress.
The service with Bryan has been excellent, and it’s about the relationship we have together. I think it’s really important that you engage on all levels, not just the professional level. People have to get it and they have to understand what your company’s about, and I think Bryan actually encompasses a lot of values we share between Night Owl and what Bryan delivers.
