MODU, taking its namesake and inspiration from the City of Shanghai, meaning “City of Sins or Magic”— this sumptuous velvet lounge with a jade-coloured island bar, an open kitchen with decorative drawer features and a private dining room for functions or board meetings. Moreover, BHO Interiors introduced Perth to the first personal glass display locker that was inspired by Chinese medicine cabinets.

Other features of the interior include a beautiful hand-painted lady, neon signage, entertainment stage where MODU will have a live band and stay open ‘til the early morning, much like the city that never sleeps, so prepare to settle in for the evening.

Client Testimonial

Bryan from BHO was the perfect designer for the job. From the first meeting, he could quickly understand our passion and vision. Within days he was able to deliver a beautiful visual presentation for the build and I felt he brought our concept to life!
Throughout the build, his creativity, energy, empathy and attention to detail shone through. Unlike other designers I have dealt with, I could really feel that he holistically embraced our business like it was his own.
I am truly grateful for the amazing venue that he has delivered for us, and for helping us navigate a number of surprises along the way. I am looking forward to working with Bryan on our next exciting venue.
