The redesign of RARE’s West Perth studio transforms 200 m² into a place where creativity, collaboration and clarity coexist. The concept was to re-energise the office environment, making it reflect the agency’s forward-thinking ethos while supporting productive work and informal collaboration. The result is a refined, flexible workspace that values comfort, functionality and design integrity.

At reception, timber panelling and soft lighting create an inviting welcome that introduces the office’s quiet sophistication. From there, the layout gently guides staff toward breakout zones, a meeting area and open workstations, encouraging natural movement and interaction. Blackboards on feature walls offer space for spontaneous sketching or brainstorming. The flexible seating and relaxed breakout areas provide quiet corners for reflection or informal discussion. Whether focused on deep work or collaborative brainstorming, the space balances energy and tranquillity, supporting diverse work styles with subtle cohesion.
