The design of MODU captures the magnetic spirit of Shanghai nightlife with modern elegance and immersive atmosphere. The project transforms a 310 m² footprint into a destination that balances glamour, intimacy and sociable vibrancy. Velvet seating, a jade-toned island bar, and curated lighting combine to portray a venue where sophistication meets spirited energy, inviting guests to lose themselves in a layered sensory experience.

From arrival the atmosphere unfolds with intention. Guests encounter a lush lounge and welcoming bar, where rich textures and deep hues evoke warmth and subtle luxury. The circulation is arranged to allow natural movement between lounge seating, bar service, dining and entertainment zones. Each area feels connected yet distinct. As guests settle in, for cocktails, dining or music, the space supports both intimacy and liveliness, allowing for conversation, celebration or quiet reflection.
