The design of the Fontana Arte showroom is the first of its kind in Australia. Commissioned by Radiant Lighting, the project transforms a 100 m² space into a refined retail environment that celebrates lighting as art. The design intends to deliver a unique customer journey, one where each lighting piece is revealed thoughtfully and the overall setting feels curated yet inviting. Dark, rich tones, elegant materials and tailored spatial organisation combine to create a backdrop where light becomes the focal point.

Guests enter a showroom that immediately feels different from conventional lighting retailers. Central display pods guide movement and draw attention to key pieces. Viewing windows around the pods offer multiple perspectives and encourage closer inspection. As visitors move through the space, the contrast between deep finishes and glowing fixtures creates a sense of intimacy and drama. The environment invites lingering, discovery and contemplation, providing a calm but engaging setting to explore the full breadth of Fontana Arte’s lighting range.

Custom joinery and carefully proportioned display pods provide order and structure while allowing lighting installations to stand out.
