In designing the new space, BHO Interiors drew inspiration from Senso’s signature use of natural materials—an aesthetic familiar to its loyal patrons. Timber accents and hanging plants have always been part of the Senso identity, bringing a rustic, organic feel to the cafe’s environment. For Senso & Co., we expanded on this theme, incorporating these natural elements in ways that feel both familiar and unique, blending seamlessly with the new location’s surroundings. Our aim was to build a space that would not only retain the charm and character of the original Senso but also give it a distinct personality that reflects the local community and atmosphere of Midland Gate.
A standout feature of the new cafe is a striking wall mural filled with vibrant jacaranda trees and vineyard scenes.
