Recognising the importance of an inspiring and functional workspace, BHO Interiors was engaged to provide comprehensive Design and Project Management services for their office renovation on Abernethy Road in Belmont. The objective was to uplift and modernise the interior while reflecting the company’s innovative spirit and corporate identity.

The renovation project commenced with a thorough assessment of the existing space, identifying opportunities to enhance functionality and aesthetic appeal. BHO Interiors proposed a design that harmonizes natural materials with modern elements, creating an inviting environment conducive to collaboration and productivity.

To achieve this, the team introduced natural timber flooring, which adds warmth and character to the office space. This choice not only enhances the visual appeal but also promotes a sense of well-being among employees. The rich tones of the timber provide a striking contrast to the sleek lines of modern design elements, creating a balanced and sophisticated look.

Black powder-coated glazing frames were strategically integrated into the design to offer a contemporary touch while allowing for ample natural light to flow throughout the office. The use of glazing not only enhances visibility but also fosters an open and airy atmosphere, encouraging communication and collaboration among staff. The sleek frames serve to delineate spaces without obstructing sightlines, contributing to a cohesive and connected environment.

To further integrate the corporate identity of both DCE Electrical and Leopard Controls, the design team used carpet tiles featuring a striking “Yellow” accent. This choice not only reflects the company’s branding but also adds a dynamic element to the flooring design.
