BHO Interiors recently completed the design for two distinct concept barber shops, each offering a unique twist on the traditional salon experience. The first, “Barber Lab,” specialises in cutting-edge men’s hairstyles, while the second, “Subi Hair Sanctuary,” caters to female clientele, creating a space that feels luxurious and personalised. The inspiration behind these two barbershops was drawn from an eclectic blend of cultures—East meets West—embodying a fusion of K-pop flair and the iconic New York State of Mind.

The interiors of both spaces reflect a modern, stylish aesthetic that is both trendy and functional. Natural solid timber counter bench tops were chosen for their warmth and durability, adding a grounded, earthy feel to the design. These organic elements are paired with dark tones, including sleek black finishes and shadowy accents, to give the spaces a sophisticated, urban edge. The combination of timber and darker hues creates an inviting yet bold environment, striking a balance between contemporary minimalism and comfortable luxury.

Barber Lab, with its focus on men’s grooming, embraces a rugged yet refined look. The dark tones lend a masculine vibe, while the solid timber details add a touch of natural warmth, making it a space where men can relax and indulge in self-care. Subi Hair Sanctuary, designed for women, takes these same principles and adds a layer of softness and elegance, ensuring that the space feels welcoming and serene. Both spaces, though conceptually different, are united by the high level of detail and craftsmanship that BHO Interiors is known for.

One of the standout features of these barbershops is the customer experience. Clients are treated to a complimentary glass of Hendrick’s Gin & Tonic, an unexpected yet delightful touch that enhances the overall experience.
