Door 49 is an exciting new addition to the vibrant King Street precinct, a location renowned for its designer fashion labels and stylish boutiques. The owners envisioned a modern bar that would seamlessly blend with the upscale aesthetic of the street while offering a unique and inviting atmosphere for patrons. BHO Interiors was entrusted with bringing this vision to life, resulting in a stunning boutique bar that captivates guests from the moment they arrive.

The design of Door 49 features an array of decorative feature walls that serve as focal points throughout the space. Each wall tells its own story, incorporating different textures and finishes that reflect the modern, chic vibe the owners desired. The use of rich timber panelling on the ceilings adds warmth and sophistication to the overall atmosphere, creating a cozy yet contemporary environment that encourages socialising and relaxation.

One of the standout elements of the design is the striking Daro pendant lights, which hang gracefully from the ceiling, drawing the eye upward and adding a touch of elegance to the space. These carefully chosen lighting fixtures serve as both functional elements and artistic statements, enhancing the bar’s modern aesthetic while providing ample illumination for the interior.

To bring a touch of nature into the design, a stunning green tropical vertical plant wall was integrated into the bar’s interior. This living wall not only serves as a vibrant backdrop but also contributes to a calming atmosphere, creating a refreshing contrast to the sleek, modern finishes of the bar. The combination of greenery and decorative features creates an inviting ambience that makes Door 49 a desirable destination for patrons seeking a unique experience.

The architectural enhancements of the space were further elevated by the installation of new black powder-coated framed bi-fold doors and full-height glass walls. These design elements not only enhance the visual appeal of the bar but also facilitate a seamless flow between the indoor and outdoor spaces. The full-height glass walls invite natural light into the bar, creating an open and airy feel that enhances the overall experience for guests.

The outdoor area of Door 49 is a remarkable extension of the interior, featuring new synthetic grass and twinkling starlights that create an enchanting ambience in the evenings. This outdoor space overlooks the stunning Perth city skyline, providing patrons with a picturesque backdrop as they enjoy their drinks and social gatherings. The combination of lush greenery, soft lighting, and urban views transforms the outdoor area into a serene oasis in the heart of the bustling city.
